Off the Mat: Yoga Teachings for the Mind, Body & Soul

We’re taught to constantly chase and climb after the next big opportunity or milestone, but this only breeds more desire. Meanwhile, the horizon stays the same: elusive.

Born in Siberia, a land of ancient forests, and majestic vistas, I was drawn to spiritual practices from an early age. My grandmother was a geologist who spent most of her life exploring Siberian green vastness and mountains. She first inspired my deep respect and love of nature.

But it was my mother who introduced me to yoga and meditation. Practicing yoga in the woods—experiencing connectedness with nature, myself, and the magic of life—are the most vivid memories of my childhood.

A tumultuous immigration, packed personal and professional life brought me back to practicing yoga in the 2000s. This revived my childhood passion and planted new seeds: a few years later, I started teaching yoga professionally. My practice grew, enriched by in-depth studies of philosophy, Buddhism, and various meditative traditions.

For over a decade, I’ve taught and studied various forms of practice, including; Yoga, Yoga Philosophy, Meditation, Breathwork, Vedic Counselling, Positive and Eastern Psychology, Pilates, Face Yoga, pre- and post-natal modalities, Yoga Therapy and more.

These teachings helped me tremendously during hard times of pandemic isolation, depression, and childbirth. I know from working experience in helping people heal their nervous system and connect with their bodies, that the tools I offer can be of great service in both preventative and turbulent circumstances.

If you are inquisitive and you are willing to put in effort, I would love to guide you on your journey. The journey is yours.

Having worked in the legal industry for over a decade, including Professional Development and Talent Management, I understand the demands, sacrifices, and, most importantly, the determination required from both of us.
